Understanding HSA and FSA Accounts

  • Health Savings Account (HSA): A tax-free account for those with high-deductible health plans. Funds roll over yearly and can be used anytime. In 2025, you can contribute up to $4,300 for individuals and $8,550 for families.
     
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA): A tax-free account offered by employers. Funds are set aside each year and typically expire at the end of the year. Check with your HR department for details.
